Signia MaX
Signia MaX is the brand's newest AI-powered hearing aid platform, designed for people who want to stay part of the conversation no matter how noisy things get. At its core are four dedicated neural networks that work together as a system Signia calls Acoustic Intelligence, following speech, background noise, your surroundings, and your own voice all at the same time. Rather than simply muting the world around you, MaX aims to keep you connected to it, adjusting the full sound picture to match what each moment calls for. Add a more powerful chip, all-day rechargeable battery, and wide wireless connectivity, and you have a hearing aid built for real, busy, everyday listening.
Hearing Aid Features
These features matter most for people whose biggest challenge is following conversation in restaurants, meetings, and other busy settings.
- Acoustic Intelligence: Four task-specific AI systems analyze speech, your own voice, the environment, and noise together, coordinating how sound is processed moment to moment.
- RealTime Conversation Enhancement: Tracks and enhances multiple talkers as a group conversation moves, so you can keep up when several people speak at once.
- Own Voice Processing: Makes your own voice sound natural from the first fitting, with no separate calibration step required in the clinic.
- Rechargeable, Long Battery: Up to 30 hours on a charge, with a pocket-size case that holds up to four more charges and a 30-minute quick charge good for up to six hours of use.
- OneConnect Connectivity: Combines Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, and a telecoil in one device, and is Auracast-ready for public broadcast audio through a firmware update Signia expects by March 2027.
Is the Signia MaX Right for You?
MaX suits adults whose main difficulty is understanding speech in complex, multi-talker settings, and who want a hearing aid that adapts on its own rather than requiring manual program changes. In Signia's own research, wearers performed better with MaX in noisy group conversations than with competing devices, though results vary from person to person and independent testing is still ongoing. If your listening challenges are simpler or your priority is something other than group conversation, another device may serve you just as well, and we will tell you.
Every fitting at Attentus Hearing Care is performed by a licensed Doctor of Audiology and verified with Real Ear Measurement, which confirms the device is delivering the right amplification for your hearing loss rather than a generic factory setting. We also fit Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, and Widex, so our recommendation is based on your hearing and your daily needs.
